Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Our client, a Los Angeles-based investment firm, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage 2-3 accounting department staff members on-site and remotely outsourced.
• Oversee daily accounting operations.
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Collaborate on monthly financial statements with the CFO.
• Drive projects and initiatives to improve processes, efficiency, and best practices in the Accounting department and organization-wide.
• Manage periodic accounting and bank audits.
• Assist the CFO with bank relationships and reporting.
• Collaborate on financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting with the CFO.
• Oversee the process for preparing and recording journal entries for daily and month-end reporting, including closing journal entries from LeaseWorks lending platform to QuickBooks.
• Oversee the 1099 process.
• Ensure the departments compliance with the companys accounting policies and procedures.
