Business Development - Commercial Landscape ConstructionAbout Us Our client is a well-established, and respected commercial landscape contractor. They are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to help expand their presence in Austin/ San Antonio, TX.Job SummaryThe Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a self-motivated, strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the commercial landscape market, excellent interpersonal skills, and a track record of meeting sales targets. Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Client Acquisition:- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities - Develop a strategic prospecting plan through cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events. Client Relationship Management: - Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor. - Work closely with operations teams to ensure exceptional execution and customer satisfaction. Sales Strategy & Planning:- Collaborate with leadership to develop sales strategies aligned with company goals and market trends. - Maintain a deep understanding of competitors and industry changes to identify new sales opportunities. - Prepare and present proposals, bids, and service agreements to prospective clients. Performance Metrics & Reporting: - Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. - Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to leadership, tracking progress against key performance indicators (KPIs). Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred but not required). - 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in some vertical of construction.- Proven ability to build relationships and close deals with commercial clients. - Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment. - Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for client meetings.
