The Position We are opening a Compensation Senior Analyst role to help support the business by planning, designing, implementing and communicating compensation policies and practices, enabling FanDuel to attract and retain top talent and drive performance. You will analyze data to develop creative solutions and support a growing business.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Company to meet evolving business needs.

  • Participate in compensation surveys by collecting compensation data and lead analysis of survey results to ensure competitiveness of pay versus market data.
  • Support annual compensation cycles merit, bonus, and long-term incentive (equity) processes by assisting in population verification, working with HR and managers to ensure performance ratings completion and analysis of distribution and year-end spend/budgeting.
  • Aid in the development of compensation program communications to management and employees (including annual and quarterly compensation programs and ad hoc bonuses and equity programs).
  • Collaborate with Compensation Partners, HR Managers, and Talent Acquisition on employee matters (such as internal equity analysis and new hire offers).
  • Review existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration to ensure compliance with laws and regulations (SOX and beyond).
  • Conduct job analysis and review position descriptions for appropriateness and FLSA classifications.
  • Lead compensation-related projects as needed.
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses for special studies, legal and leadership requests.
  • Help mentor and guide less experienced Compensation Analysts.

What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in compensation (preferred).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field (preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and auditing (SOX compliance requirements).
  • Exposure to data analysis programming languages (SQL, Python, VBA, Tableau, etc.) preferred.
  • Exposure to and curiosity for Artificial Intelligence tools.
  • Results-oriented with natural curiosity to solve problems and deliver actionable solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to consolidate and work with large volumes of data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Interest in Fantasy Sports and/or Sports Gaming preferred.

The applicable salary range for this position is $94,000 - $117,500 USD , which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; and other employee benefits. The role may be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and stock program participation. The position includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with state and federal laws.
