Were supporting them in identifying a skilled and driven Compliance Officer to join their Malta-based team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update internal Compliance Registers, Policies, and Manuals to ensure ongoing regulatory alignment.
• Contribute to the execution of the Compliance Monitoring Programme.
• Support the preparation and coordination of information during regulatory inspections.
• Assist the Regulatory Reporting Compliance Manager with the preparation and submission of reports to regulators and tax authorities.
• Guide and support Onboarding Officers and junior team members regarding AML/CFT obligations and customer due diligence requirements.
• Conduct and support Customer Risk Assessments, ensuring consistency with the companys internal risk framework.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of the Maltese regulatory framework.
• A degree or recognised qualification in Compliance, Law, Banking, Finance, Accounting, or Risk.
• Professional certifications such as ICA or equivalent membership in a recognised Compliance body will be considered a strong asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of working effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships and negotiate diplomatically.
• Skilled at identifying material compliance risks and prioritising actions accordingly.
