We are actively recruiting for a Computer Systems Engineer to support the Hardware Cyber Security Branch within the Trusted and Assured Microelectronics Division of NSWC Crane. In this role, the employee will be serving as an Engineer/Scientist supporting various customers which include USN, USAF, and other OGA programs. The main focus would be continuing development of the Trust Me tool for Integrated Circuit verification at the transistor/gate level. As a Computer Engineer with JRC, you will... Develop and implement image processing algorithms using C++ for large-scale image datasets. Manipulate and process various image formats including JPEG (.jpg), TIFF (.tiff), PNG (.png), and others. Research and identify innovative testing methodologies and image processing techniques. Conduct software regression testing and perform quality assurance reviews of software code. Author, review, and adhere to established software engineering processes and standards. What You Bring To The Table... Eligibility to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance. Hands-on experience with C++, C#, Java, and Windows SDK. Proficient with development tools such as JIRA, Git, Fisheye, and similar platforms. Skilled in GUI design and implementation. Solid understanding of software engineering and assurance practices, particularly in DoD environments. Familiarity with microcomputer systems, including operating systems, storage, and database management. Experience in image stitching and processing large-scale image datasets. Comfortable working in Linux, UNIX, and Windows environments using command-line tools. Knowledge of computer vision algorithms for shape and feature detection. Ability to write scripts for parsing and organizing large text files. Capable of contributing to technical design reviews. Bonus points for...
