The Dover-Eyota Public School district is looking for an organized, energetic person to serve the district.


Position: FT Custodian


This position will have a wide range of important responsibilities. Although it will be physically housed in Dover-Eyota Elementary School, its responsibilities will span the entire district as needed.


Hours: 40 per week during the school year, 1:30 - 10:00 PM. The majority of the days worked will be weekdays, with some weekends required throughout the school year. It will be 40 hours per week as a day shift during the summer.


Salary: $20 per hour


Benefits: Insurance benefits, paid vacation, paid holidays as determined by Teamsters Contract


Start Date: January 2025


Job Description/Duties:


Cleans and maintains assigned school building areas, which includes sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning bathrooms, and mopping floors.


Sets up/takes down for special events/athletic events


Cleans and prepares the lunch area


Participates in summer cleaning, painting of classrooms, or other activities to prepare the buildings for the start of the school year or as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
