Description: Duties include and are not limited to: cleaning and various housekeeping tasks, lifting and moving objects over 30 lbs, working both indoors and outdoors, operating cleaning and maintenance equipment, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Qualifications: - Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions in English.
- Ability to perform physical labor tasks in various weather conditions
- Ability to, on occasion, physically lift and move packages, boxes, and other materials weighing up to 50 pounds alone, or more than 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to positively respond to directions
Compensation: This is a temporary and seasonal position paid at an hourly rate of $16.75/hour that supports the summer cleaning of school buildings. Returning staff will receive an additional $.25 per hour. Work hours are 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. including a 30 minute unpaid meal break. The position will start on or about June 2, 2025 and end no later than September 1, 2025. Start and end dates are flexible based on availability of individual.
