The Director of BD will play a central role in driving commercial growth across the East Coast region. This position is ideal for a highly motivated and strategic business development professional with deep experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing services. The individual will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities, managing client relationships, and aligning sales efforts with broader company objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in drug product development and manufacturing services
• Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with biopharma clients
• Prepare and present tailored proposals, service offerings, and technical capabilities to prospective clients
• Attend industry conferences and networking events to represent the company and generate leads
• Provide accurate forecasting and reporting of sales pipeline and key performance metrics

Qualifications:

• Over 5 years of business development or sales experience in the CDMO space.
• Proven track record in securing contracts for formulation development, drug product manufacturing, or sterile fill-finish services
• Deep understanding of the drug development lifecycle from preclinical through commercial stages
• Strong client network within the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors, ideally on the East Coast
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
• Self-starter with a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to execution
