Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry Level Events Assistant. In this dynamic role, you will gain hands-on experience in event planning and execution, supporting our dedicated events team in delivering successful events that engage and inspire attendees. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from corporate conferences to community gatherings, helping to ensure that every detail is attended to and that each event runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of events from conception to completion
• Coordinate logistics including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs
• Support the events team during on-site event setup and breakdown
• Communicate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure event objectives are met
• Maintain budgets and track expenses related to events
• Help create promotional materials and invitations for various events

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelors degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Basic understanding of social media platforms and marketing strategies
