Join Elegant Event Lighting! We are an event production company providing decor production services for special events and wedding ceremonies and receptions around Chicagoland. This includes draping, chandeliers, dance floors and other unique decor elements. We are looking for friendly, hardworking individuals to join our team and help create great client experiences.
Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and extremely detail-oriented Event Sales Assistant to support our sales and events team in planning, promoting, and executing successful events. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role involves administrative support, client communication, and coordination with vendors and internal teams.
This is an in office position (no remote option) with regular scheduled hours Monday thru Friday 7am - 3pm.
Key Responsibilities:Assist the Event Sales Team in managing client inquiries, bookings, and follow-ups.
Prepare event proposals, contracts, and documentation.
Coordinate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to support event logistics.
Monitor and respond to emails and phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
Track event sales metrics and assist in reporting.
Assist with managing social media
Ensure excellent customer service and client satisfaction at all stages of the sales process.
Previous experience in event planning, sales support, or customer service preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Proficient in Google Drive and computer navigation
Outgoing, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor.
A team player with a proactive approach.
Problem-solving mindset
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is a plus.
