Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Fabrication Technician for a contract to direct hire role in Grayling Michigan!!!!
Schedule: Monday–Friday 5-3, with some overtime. Pay rate is $18/hr. We’re seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Fabrication Technician to join our production team and support the fabrication department through critical metal finishing, material handling, and general workflow tasks. Fabrication Technician Essential Job Duties:
-Perform metal finishing tasks such as deburring, grinding, and sanding to ensure clean, high-quality components.
-Assist with workflow coordination by moving materials, supporting assembly, and operating basic fabrication equipment (e.g., press brakes, box brakes).
-Read and interpret blueprints to accurately prepare, position, and assist in the fabrication and welding of parts.

Qualifications:
-Experience or training in metal fabrication, welding, or machining—high school diploma or equivalent required.
-Proficiency with hand and power tools (grinders, sanders, deburring tools) and the ability to read technical drawings.
-Strong attention to detail with the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work safely in a production environment.
