Job Summary: Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Freight Broker focused on new business development. This role is integral to our growth strategy and requires a proactive individual with a passion for sales and a deep passion for customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage a customer base, actively pursuing and securing new business. Focus on specific lanes, commodities, new markets, contract opportunities, and specialized equipment to acquire customers. Establish integrated solutions to meet customers' needs, requirements, and satisfaction. Identify and present opportunities for customers' spot quotes and bids. Present and negotiate rates with customers, then close and secure business. Acquire and retain new clients. Utilize company-provided leads and market direction to target specific markets and lanes as required. Offer premium service solutions and competitive pricing to our valued customers. Qualifications: Education: Experience will supersede education. BA is a plus but not required. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of proven sales experience in the logistics or supply chain industry. Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Driven and motivated self starter. Ability to communicate at a high level over the phone. Ability to think quickly, handle objections, and overcome obstacles. Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales/ closing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in CRM software and ability to learn sales prospecting tools Attributes: Highly motivated and self-driven. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
