General Business Online Short-Term 2025-2026 Teaching Position - UMC Business Division Join to apply for the General Business Online Short-Term 2025-2026 Teaching Position - UMC Business Division role at University of Minnesota About The Job This is a short-term and/or temporary online General Business teaching position for the University of Minnesota - Crookston Campus’s Business Department for the 2025-2026 academic year. The position is based on enrollment, and there is a possibility that the course or position may not be offered during the semester or academic year depending on enrollment needs. Job Duties Develop and teach courses Advise students on academic concerns and school-related organizations Provide service-related teaching duties Participate in policy, course, and program decisions Engage in professional growth, stay current in the field, and broaden knowledge and expertise Additional Responsibilities Deliver high-quality instruction to undergraduate students in general business, international business, etc. Help develop department goals, advise students, support research and community outreach, and develop ties with scholars in the field. Regular office hours are expected. Qualifications Master’s Degree, preferably in the teaching discipline Or, Master’s Degree in another field plus 18 graduate credits in the discipline Terminal degree preferred Relevant professional or teaching experience Ability to work with diverse student populations, demonstrating cultural competencies Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills Proficiency in English Eligibility to work in the United States Pay and Benefits Pay ranges from $1300 to $1500 per credit, depending on experience, course, and enrollment.
