Job Description:
As an Optician, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses, as well as providing exceptional customer service.
Duties:
Guide customers in selecting eyeglass frames and lenses that align with their personal style, prescription requirements, and budget.
Maintain and manage inventory of prescription (Rx) cards and related materials.
Accurately interpret and understand prescriptions provided by Optometrists and Ophthalmologists.
Recommend frames and lenses tailored to each customer's lifestyle and visual needs.
Clearly explain prescription details and available lens options to help customers make informed decisions.
Deliver outstanding customer service across all channels: in-store, phone, text, email, and online platforms.
Gain in-depth knowledge of safety eyewear products and advise customers on the best solutions for their needs.
Develop expertise in the full range of eyewear products offered by the company.
Ensure all eyewear complies with ANSI standards and meets individual customer specifications.
Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills when interacting with customers and colleagues.
