Job Title: Marketing Manager

Company: Relevant Partners

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote)

Compensation: TBD (1099, Independent Contractor)

About Relevant Partners

Relevant Partners is a Los Angeles–based real estate development and investment firm known for pioneering branded hospitality, luxury residential, and lifestyle-driven projects including TAO LA, Mother Wolf, and COVA at Coachella.

Our portfolio spans ground-up development, real estate syndication, and branded experiences, with a growing emphasis on longevity, wellness, and thoughtfully designed communities. As the company scales, marketing plays a critical role in driving investor demand, supporting sales, and ensuring consistency across multiple projects and audiences.

About the Role

The Marketing Manager will serve as a hands-on, execution-focused marketing generalist responsible for owning marketing strategy, execution, and performance across Relevant Partners’ active projects.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly autonomous, comfortable taking direction and running with it, and confident voicing ideas, insights, and recommendations without being asked. You’ll oversee marketing across email, social, events, paid campaigns, and vendor partnerships, while managing a Marketing Associate and collaborating closely with leadership.

The ultimate goal of this role is to drive measurable growth in engagement, lead quality, and conversion across multiple audiences and channels.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Own and publish monthly marketing content calendars across all channels (email, social, events, paid).
  • Plan and execute integrated, cross-channel marketing campaigns in support of active and upcoming projects.
  • Proactively identify opportunities, surface insights, and recommend strategies to improve performance and efficiency.

Email Marketing & Lifecycle Management

  • Own email marketing strategy across newsletters, campaigns, and automated flows.
  • Develop and optimize lifecycle and nurture programs for investors, partners, and prospects.
  • Ensure email programs are well-segmented, thoughtfully messaged, and performance-driven.

Conversion & Funnel Optimization

  • Support the development and optimization of landing pages and marketing flows that drive lead capture and conversion.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to improve funnel performance from lead to MQL.

Campaign Execution & Performance Management

  • Execute and optimize campaigns across social, email, paid media, events, and vendor-led initiatives.
  • Monitor performance against benchmarks and continuously refine campaigns to improve results.
  • Ensure consistent brand execution and messaging across all channels and projects.

Reporting & Insights

  • Deliver regular performance reporting and readouts across all marketing channels.
  • Translate data into actionable insights and clear recommendations for leadership.

Team & Vendor Management

  • Oversee and manage a Marketing Associate, providing direction, feedback, and accountability.
  • Manage external vendors and partners, ensuring timelines, quality, and alignment with objectives.
  • Act as a central point of coordination for marketing execution across teams and stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

Core Profile

  • A true marketing generalist with strong execution instincts and strategic thinking.
  • Highly autonomous and proactive — able to take direction and run independently.
  • Confident communicator who shares opinions, insights, and recommendations without waiting to be asked.
  • Clear, organized, and strong written and verbal communicator.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with email marketing (campaigns, newsletters, automation, and segmentation).
  • Experience executing multi-channel marketing programs (email, social, paid, events).
  • Comfortable owning performance metrics and optimizing campaigns based on data.
  • Proven ability to manage vendors and external partners.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Strong design skills (Canva, Figma, Adobe, etc.).
  • Web development or CMS experience (landing pages, basic site updates, optimization).
  • Experience in real estate, hospitality, luxury, or investment marketing.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms.

Why Relevant Partners

  • High-impact role with real ownership and visibility.
  • Opportunity to shape and scale marketing across multiple high-profile projects.
  • Exposure to the full real estate development and fundraising lifecycle.
  • Entrepreneurial environment that values initiative, judgment, and ideas.
  • Room to grow in scope, responsibility, and compensation as the company scales.
