Job Description

Salary: $93,770 - 179,240 per year Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science, or another quantitative discipline; or equivalent experience of 4 years in statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analytics may substitute in lieu of a degree.
• 4 years of relevant experience in data/analytics or functional business operations in the corresponding industry (i.e., P&C, Banking, Finance), or an advanced degree with 2 years of experience in the same settings.
• Proficient in mathematical and statistical methodologies that aid in fact-based decision-making.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, and proficiency in developing analysis queries using SQL, SAS, BI tools, or other analytical software relevant to the industry.

• Utilize a mix of intermediate and advanced analytical skills to engage with cross-functional teams, facilitating discussions to understand business goals and guiding solution strategies.
• Apply sophisticated analytical methods to address medium to large-scale business challenges impacting current and future strategies.
• Employ innovative analytical techniques to deliver insights and recommendations, driving actionable changes aligned with business objectives.
• Develop communication materials to effectively present insights to peers, management, and executive teams.
• Implement visualization techniques to communicate analysis results and enhance understanding for non-technical audiences.
• Identify and collate high-quality data sources that address the problem at hand, utilizing exploratory data analysis methods as needed.
• Transform and integrate diverse data sources while applying appropriate data hygiene techniques.
• Document assumptions, methodologies, and validation processes thoroughly for peer reviews and compliance checks.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies that could enhance scientific methodologies and analytical approaches for resolving issues.
• Convey analysis findings in a clear manner that influences management, garners support, and drives strategic decisions while mitigating associated risks according to compliance protocols.
