Order Fulfillment Manager

The Order Fulfillment Manager will lead and oversee order fulfillment operations during evening hours in preparation for next day deliveries. This role is responsible for managing a team to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient order processing while upholding quality and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally with departments such as customer service and transportation to support seamless distribution to customers.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead, train, and develop a team of associates to ensure strong performance, collaboration, and growth.
• Oversee daily operations of the order fulfillment department, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient processing of orders.
• Partner with customer service and fleet teams to monitor and adjust routing for accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with logistics and fleet leadership to support and implement effective shipping strategies.
• Address routing-related issues involving trucks or drivers in coordination with fleet management, ensuring swift and effective resolutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and maintain high service standards.
• Leverage internal systems to organize, prioritize, and track shipping and distribution activities.
• Analyze operational workflows and recommend improvements to optimize productivity and effectiveness.
• Ensure customer labeling requirements are met by reviewing and verifying label specifications.
• Take a hands-on approach by assisting with key tasks as needed, including packing, loading, and moving trucks.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as business needs required
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities
• Set clear goals and performance expectations for direct reports, fostering accountability and engagement.
• Partner, cross functionally, to schedule and lead routine meetings focused on process improvements, gathering feedback, reviewing GMP protocols, and coordinating ongoing training initiatives.
• Oversee and support performance management efforts, including coaching team members, tracking hours, and providing regular feedback.
• Assist with workforce planning and scheduling for the order fulfillment team to meet operational needs.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to support onboarding, training, and documentation for both new hires and current team members.
