As You Wish Pet Sitters is currently adding exceptional Pet Sitters to join our team. As You Wish is an established and well-loved company in the Denver suburbs. This is a wonderful opportunity for former nurses and vet techs as well as dog trainers! Work with animals and amazing clients as you build your team. You must complete all portions of the application process for consideration a survey will follow and must be completed! Our Pet Sitter Must Be:

• A highly motivated, friendly, energetic self-starter
• You must reside within the service area of Parker or within 5 miles of that area.
• Over 21 years of age
• Willing to own your business and enjoy all the flexibility and benefits as well as having support and training from As You Wish - Compensation is on a per job/per team member basis.
• Aware of a dog's round the clock needs: This isn't a 9-5 job, dogs need round the clock care.
• Polished and professional
• Flexible, have open availability, work weekdays, weekends and holidays, as stays vary based on client needs
• Able to provide all of our service types including day pet sits, overnights, late night visits and mid-day visits
• Willing to help assemble an equally dynamic team to work with you

Pet Sitter - Requirements and Qualifications

• Possess exceptional customer service skills
• Be able to communicate with clients of various backgrounds
• Be an extremely detail oriented person
• Be a driven, dynamic person - slackers need not apply!
• Must have your own, reliable mode of transportation to perform the duties and responsibilities associated with this role
• Must be responsible, reliable,and dependable
• Efficient time management skills a must
• Must be able to self-manage
• Must have supplemental income while you build your territory.
• Must be able to attain financial expectations - this means you need to meet goals and milestones!
• Must feel comfortable talking about yourself and the services you provide with others
• Must be compassionate about animals
• Must feel comfortable working with and interacting with all types of pets
• Must be able to pass criminal background check
• You must have a car, auto insurance and a clean mvr.
• You must possess the ability to take detailed notes and communicate effectively in both written and oral form.
• You must possess the ability to market your business to potential clients and business partners. Marketing activities up to and including farmer's markets, special events, etc. (most held on weekend)
• You must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Are you ready to determine your own destiny? Physical Demands Activity Level: High –Walk, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, hear and see. Be able to walk up to 10 miles daily Occasional—Lifting up to 35 lbs. (Lifting dog into and out of vehicle or onto bed if necessary) Environment:—Outdoors for 75% of the time

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Completion of Recognized Hands On Pet First Aid/CPR training course.
• As You Wish encourages on-going training in animal related behavior, a professional certification course or attendance at the annual NAPPS Forum
