We're looking for an experienced Production Control Planner and Scheduler to join our client's dynamic manufacturing team and play a vital role in ensuring materials, production, and deliveries flow smoothly from start to finish.

In this role, you'll be at the center of operations-balancing customer demand with production capabilities, keeping inventory levels on target, and building schedules that drive success. This position is perfect for someone who loves details, enjoys working across departments, and wants to make a real impact on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Salary: $53,000 - $56,000/yr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain short- and long-term production schedules based on sales forecasts.
• Plan manpower, production hours, and raw materials to meet customer demand on time.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Sales, and Production teams to ensure everything runs seamlessly.
• Communicate with customers to coordinate delivery dates, packaging needs, and product changes.
• Track progress, troubleshoot issues, and keep leadership informed of production performance.
• Support new product launches, build plans, and ramp-ups while managing end-of-life parts and packaging.
• Monitor vendor and shipment performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of production scheduling experience and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access) with an eye for data accuracy.
• Clear and confident communicator with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
• APICS training, forklift certification, or customer service experience are all a plus!
