A trusted and stable civil utility contractor with a strong reputation for quality and reliability in underground infrastructure is seeking a senior level project manager. We specialize in the installation of water, sewer, and storm drain systems for private commercial and residential developments. Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Mid to Senior-Level Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in civil construction with an emphasis on underground utility installation for private works . This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects from pre-construction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle for multiple utility installation projects (water, sewer, storm drain).
• Coordinate with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and inspectors to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, change orders, and forecasts.
• Conduct job site visits and monitor field activities for compliance with plans, specs, and safety standards.
• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and labor resources.
• Prepare and review submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in project management within the civil construction or underground utilities sector.
• Proven track record managing water, sewer, and storm drain projects, particularly for private developers.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specs, permitting processes, and local municipal standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
