Join Our Team as a Radiation Therapist!

As a Radiation Therapist, you will work under the guidance of our experienced manager and radiation oncologist, performing vital radiotherapy treatments and simulations.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Deliver daily radiation therapy treatments based on physician prescriptions and setup instructions.
• Assist in developing innovative techniques and processes for simulations and treatments.
• Schedule patients for treatment and maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
• Participate in continuing education programs and departmental quality assurance initiatives.
• Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain a positive attitude and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
• Utilize advanced imaging technologies for simulation and treatment planning.
• Perform daily warm-up procedures on simulation equipment and linear accelerators.
• Comply with all department safety policies and procedures.
• Support your coworkers and actively participate in department meetings.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Radiation Therapy certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• An Associate Degree in a relevant field.
