A Route Delivery Driver is responsible for operating delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial customers efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina to lift packages up to 70 lbs, excellent customer service skills, and adherence to company policies and safety standards. Full-time casual package delivery drivers work eight to ten hours per day and workdays can vary (Monday - Friday) or (Tuesday - Saturday) depending on the business needs.

Permanent, full-time delivery drivers receive an average total compensation package of $145,000 per year. That includes $0 healthcare premiums, up to seven weeks of paid vacation, plus paid time off for holidays, sick leave and option days. UPS also makes contributions to a defined-benefit pension plan for each employee.
