Job Description Sushi Restaurant in the Minneapolis St. Paul (MSP) Airport is seeking full time and part time sushi chefs for a variety of shifts. DUTIES

Create quality sushi including cooking rice, rolling sushi, temperature recording, cutting and packaging. Ensure all operating standards including food safety and quality are strictly adhered to. Greet, interact, and communicate with customers. Provide a high level of attention to guest satisfaction and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers. Actively display knowledge of all sushi menu items Prepare sushi related products and apply proper cutting techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of sushi bar. May order and receive raw materials and dry goods. Ensure all required logbooks, including rice pH log and temperature logs, are maintained and verified. Share ingredients & nutritional information about the sushi products to encourage sales and customer interaction. Promote the fact that product is "made fresh daily" by trained sushi chefs. Friendly, knowledgeable, and represents our business professionally. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Experienced sushi chef highly preferred Prior food handling experiences a must ServSafe Certified and knowledge of HAACP standards preferred. Strong customer service skills Team Player Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
