**Job Title: Cath Lab Tech**

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of cardiac services delivered to patients. Key responsibilities include operating and maintaining technical equipment, accurately obtaining and analyzing hemodynamic data, and assisting in procedures to maintain patient comfort and safety. This position requires a commitment to proper documentation and compliance with safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Ensure safe procedures in the delivery of cardiac services.
- Obtain and analyze hemodynamic data accurately.
- Prepare patients for procedures and educate them about pre-and post-procedure processes.
- Maintain accurate procedural logs and technical notes.
- Assist in the proper completion of reports/documentation, including X-ray requisitions and film labels.
- Handle cine films correctly, including mailing and retrieving as needed.
- Verify the expiration dates of supplies and report any expired equipment promptly.
- Prepare the procedure room and lay out necessary supplies prior to procedures.
- Maintain surgical technique and adhere to universal precautions during invasive procedures.
- Scrub with cardiologists and demonstrate familiarity with their preferences.
- Complete patient identification verification and consent confirmation.
- Follow policies for operation, troubleshooting, quality control, and archival systems.

**Job Requirements:**

- Minimum 1-2 years of Cath Lab tech experience required; Interventional Radiology experience highly preferred.
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), IABP Certification.
- Telemetry certification is highly preferred.
- RT license for Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology is required.
- Availability for on-call shifts; 1 shift per week and 1 weekend every 8 weeks.
- Must be reliable and prioritize the assigned schedule without alternative job conflicts.

**Schedule:**

- Shift hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
- 4x10 variable shift hours with no weekends or holidays.
