This position responds to fire calls, administers emergency medical care as Paramedic, maintains apparatus, gear, and equipment, participates in dynamic drills and advanced training to sharpen your edge and grow your expertise and upholds the Department’s values both in uniform and in the community.
Qualifications: The recommended qualifications are current MA/National Registry Paramedic certification, high school diploma or GED, current MA state driver’s license, and preferably trained to a minimum of Firefighter I/II.
Compensation and Benefits: The salary for this position ranges from $70,052.89 to $96,969.59 annually, with previous relevant experience credited and reflected in your starting compensation. In addition to competitive salary, this position is eligible for: comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; employee assistance and wellness programs; participation in the Barnstable County Retirement System and generous paid time off, including vacation days, personal days, and holidays.
