Description Security Guard Supervisor General Description:· Responsible for managing a secure entrance and perimeter for the facility· Learn all the jobs of your immediate staff.· Ensure completion and accuracy of reports done by staff· Complete daily and weekly reports as needed· Supervise, train, and evaluate performance of staff; implement disciplinary procedures when necessary.· Resolve employee's conflicts and issues promptly and objectively.· Direct communication with company and outside services· Work in the Order Management System/Shop Floor· Work with the Plant Shipping/Shag Service/Traffic· Work with the Traffic Department to coordinate shipping date, times, and locations · Maintain logs for inbound and outbound trucks· Attend meetings as scheduled· Reports to Safety Manager· Other duties as assigned Required skills:Previous security related experience preferred but not required Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not required 10-key and computer skills requiredAbility to handle conflictAbility to think critically and problem solveAttention to detail and ability to multi-taskCommunication skills—written and verbalAbility to speak multiple languages is preferred but not requiredSelf-starter and Team playerStrong leadership / management skillsMust be able to demonstrate effective people skillsReliable attendance recordMust be able to pass a Background Check Working Conditions: Must be able to work in security guard shacks, security vehicles in hot and cold conditionsMust be able to work outside in all weather conditionsMust be able to walk, run, sit and stand for extended periods of time Lift up to 50lbs.Education Requirements (if applicable)High School Diploma or GED equivalent EOE, including disability/vetsPLEASE APPLY ONLINE AT: Applications will be considered in the order in which they are received.
