We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Permanent Superintendent for Healthcare Construction to join our team. This role is integral to our company's success and offers a unique opportunity to be part of the construction of healthcare facilities that impact the community positively. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of hospital construction projects, from planning and development to completion and handover. This includes new builds, remodels, renovations, ground-up projects, additions, expansions, and Medical Office Buildings (MOB).

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Superintendent for Healthcare Construction, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

1. Overseeing all aspects of construction projects from initial planning to completion, ensuring that all project goals are met.

2. Supervising all onsite construction, including subcontractor coordination, problem-solving, safety protocol enforcement, and quality control.

3. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists to ensure that all healthcare regulations and standards are met.

4. Managing and coordinating all construction activities related to remodels, renovations, ground-up projects, additions, expansions, and MOB.

5. Ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

6. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.

7. Addressing any issues, delays, or problems on the construction site promptly and efficiently.

8. Providing regular updates and reports on project status to project managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Superintendent for Healthcare Construction position must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in healthcare construction, specifically in hospital construction, remodels, renovations, ground-up projects, additions, expansions, and MOB.

2. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

3. Extensive knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety regulations.

4. Excellent leadership and project management skills with a proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget.

5. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals.

6. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

7. Proficient in using construction management software and technology.

8. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different construction sites as needed.

9. Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) would be advantageous.
