The Test Engineer performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: test, installation, operation, maintenance and sustainability. Properly employs test assets into customer-driven test objectives. Performs functional analysis and timeline analysis. The engineer will present a deep understanding of testing philosophies and methodologies within an agile test environment. Tasking includes RF chain analysis and radar system performance analysis, as well as all aspects of test execution. Hands-on test, integration, and verification support across lab facilities requiring skills in algorithms, software, hardware, and networking. Support technical publications in developing for customer releases test planning, test procedures, and test reports. Support technical and functional leadership through the identification of risk.
