Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8.5-hour day shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM

• Full-time position with no weekend requirements

• No on-call requirements

• No floating requirements between locations

• Expectation to complete at least one study per hour

• Work with both hospital and outpatient populations

• Temp to perm opportunity available

• Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology required

• 1 year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred

• Basic computer experience required

• BLS certification via AHA required

• Must hold one of the following: Sonography (S) by ARRT, Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS, or Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS

• Preferred additional certifications include: Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT, Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT, Breast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS, Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS, or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS

• Perform routine and advanced imaging procedures

• Handle movement, set-up, and operation of medical ultrasound equipment

• Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in quality assurance

• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS

• Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser

• Demonstrate flexibility to work other shifts or campuses as needed

• Maintain professional behavior and communication aligned with organizational values
